Each correct answer awards your team a points, which can add up to a maximum of 50 points if you play flawless play.
But the fun doesn't end there. In fact, the NYC Trivia League adds an extra layer of competition with the bonus points system. Every day, the top 25 teams get extra points, with the top 10 teams receiving 5 bonus points, while the other 15 getting 3. In the course of the week, the top 50 teams also get bonus points with the top 25 receiving 10 points and the following 25 getting 5.
To calculate your total league score, we use your baseline score and adjust it according to a scale of 100 points, with 15 bonus points that are available every week. For instance, a perfect basic score, 50 is multiplied 85 times, and the bonus points are added to potentially make it a total of 100.
